Now at the fourth version, this patch/hook allows you to play MechWarrior 2, Ghost Bear's Legacy and Mercenaries Win95 under XP.
Currently it fixes the startup/BitBlt issue, mech lab 8.3 filename problem, trial heap crash and the frame rate issues (missiles, jump jets and the heat management system).

You can get a copy of the source code from GitLab; if you add any additional fixes/hooks/shims, please create a PR (the shim/patch code is in MW2Shim/patches.c), to compile it you'll need a copy of Microsoft's Detours library installed.
There are currently two versions, one for normal Win95 (try this one first), and one for Titanium (currently incomplete), the old version is here for posterity.
